Identity V Mochidoru Plush — Perfumer (@Loppi・HMV Exclusive), Sourced from Japan
Identity V Mochidoru plush (Perfumer), a @Loppi・HMV exclusive sourced from Japan through Sakura Proxy. Details and how to order convenience store exclusives.
Here is one that is genuinely impossible to buy from abroad: the Perfumer Mochidoru plush from Identity V, released as an @Loppi・HMV exclusive.

What is a Mochidoru?
Mochidoru is a plush format made by Legs, and it has quietly become one of the most requested merchandise lines in Japan. The design language is simple: a compact standing plush of around 18–20 cm, made in polyester, with a soft rounded face and squeezable cheeks — the name comes from mochi, and the cheeks are very much the point.
The format has been applied to an enormous range of properties: anime series, mobile games, VTubers and streamers, idol franchises. The character here is the Perfumer, one of the Survivors in NetEase's asymmetrical horror game Identity V, a title with an unusually large and dedicated following in Japan.
Why @Loppi・HMV exclusives are so hard to get
This is the part worth understanding if you collect Japanese merchandise.
@Loppi refers to the Loppi kiosk terminals installed inside Lawson convenience stores across Japan, run in partnership with HMV&BOOKS online. Goods sold through this channel work on a made-to-order preorder model: there is a fixed reservation window of a few weeks, production is matched to orders received, and the item is handed over months later.
The consequences are severe if you live outside Japan. There is no international shipping. Ordering through Loppi means physically standing at a kiosk in a Lawson store. Ordering through HMV requires a Japanese account and delivery address. And once the reservation window closes, the item is never restocked — production has already been fixed to the orders taken.
After that, the only route is Japan's domestic secondary market, where these plushes routinely resell well above their original price.
How we handle these
We monitor reservation windows, place the order inside the window, hold the item until the handover date, and then ship it to you. For exclusives that have already closed, we hunt them on the domestic secondary market instead.
Plushes are light but bulky, so consolidating several into one shipment makes a real difference to your cost per item. If you are ordering more than one, tell us and we will hold them together.
Want one?
Send us the product name, or a link to the campaign page. If a reservation window is still open we will get in before it closes — and if it has already shut, we will look for one on the secondary market.
